About
The Digital Cobbler has been on the web in some form or other since 2000. When it started, it was about using the digital tools of “now” to change our personal geography. That concept was once called “cobbling together our digital environment”. Then some of those problems started to become solved so there didn’t seem that much to write about anymore. But now, the concentration of digital power in the hands of crypto-fascists, and the hype-lies of AI have made the subject fresh again. This blog is written (and photographed) by a retired librarian who’s been an Information Architect, a now-and-then Geographer, a Sometimes Photographer, a basement recording musician, and always a Rider.
